Solar-powered car with unlimited range in the works

An Australian company is in the process of developing a solar-powered car with unlimited travel, provided the sun is shining.

All very cool, and I'm all for solar powered stuff. But what if the sun dont shine?

1. Charge on sunny days.
2. Try not to drive too much on rainy/cloudy days so not to run out of "fuel".
3. If the sun dies, start "Project Sunshine" and reignite the sun. {u_u};

Solar will be the future.
When I was 10, I had a vivid dream, solar energy was soo efficient and inexpensive that every family owned some type of solar vehicle. There were flying solar vehicles in the air for the more wealthy, and with a break through in battery technology, vehicles were able to cross the whole continent of the United States on a single charge. Eliminating the issues we face today. This world that I was dreaming of was soo clean, and beautiful, it was stunning! Every where you looked, everyone was sooo happy. I just hope this dream comes true, and that humans don't end up destroying ourselves or even worst, this world we live in.
