Maximum PC: Google today added a free radio tier to its Google Play Music service. It's an ad-supported option for music lovers living in the U.S. who don't want to pay the $9.99/month subscription for the full service. It's Google's hope that the free tier will entice listeners to eventually become paying subscribers.
Users have until December to transfer their songs and playlists to YouTube Music
In case you missed it, Google announced recently that it would be retiring Google Play Music and shuttling people over to YouTube Music.
Some good things happen too in 2020, for example you can get a free Nest Mini smart speaker for your YouTube Premium or Google Play Music subscriptions.
