Twitter is improving its abuse and threat-related features so that people can more easily deal with legitimate issues on the network. For real threats, Twitter has announced people can begin sending themselves emails with a threat report which can then be taken to the police.
Airlines, Air France, KLM, and Ryanair no longer offer customer service support using Twitter's direct message functionality.
