Maximum PC: It was speculated that Nvidia might announce a new Titan graphics card during GDC, and that's what the company did in a somewhat dramatic fashion. It happened at the tail end of an Unreal Engine panel. As Epic founder Tim Sweeny wrapped up his discussion on the state of Unreal, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang surprised attendees by emerging on stage to unveil the company's Titan X.
The latest flagship GPU from NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 1180, will be launched in the form of a Founders Edition card on June 15. The new card is expected to match the performance offered by the Titan Xp at a lesser price.
If the GTX 1180 only has 8Gbs of GDDR6, I'm going to be disappointed.
In fact, I probably won't get it unless it at least above 12Gbs.
NVIDIA launches the *new* Titan X, packing the Pascal GP102 GPU and 12GB of GDDR5X memory. Irresponsible performance? Check.
Videocardz.com: We are less than a week before official announcement, and probably even further from actual reviews to show up. Well, I’m not sure how ’bout you, but I’m tired of waiting. Those who follow our site, know that I do my best to post the most accurate synthetic results as soon as possible. It requires three things, a good source with credible information (thanks Lisa!), enough data with small variance and few energy drinks — not exactly in this order.
