VRFocus- Controller-free hand-tracking company Leap Motion has been placing a strong focus on virtual reality (VR) development for the past few months. Since releasing an official mount that allows users to connect the company’s sensor to the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) Leap Motion has hosted VR videogame jams and launched new widgets to enhance development of titles. Today sees the company partner with Epic Games as it releases an official plugin for the Unreal Engine 4 development toolset.
Unreal Engine also won the SIGGRAPH award for Best Real-Time Graphics and Interactivity.

Originally designed for desktop PC’s Leap Motion realised there was a market for its device in the VR industry, creating a VR Developer Mount. Now with the launch of the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive HMDs onto the consumer market, the company has revealed a new Universal VR Developer Mount.
