I Am Cardboard EVA VR Kit Review: TechOven

Google Cardboard. The paper-based gadget has come a long way since its inception, and you can now pick one up in a variety of forms. As a VR fan, we have yet to make the plunge and pick up a Gear VR, but have used several different mobile VR setups and decided it was time for a review. First up, is our I Am Cardboard EVA kit review.

I Am Cardboard makes over a dozen types of Google Cardboard kits, and the EVA is made from durable EVA foam. It’s similar to the stuff you find in those squishy gym mats and a popular item amongst cosplayers and other fabricators.

It’s also much, much easier on your nose than a piece of cardboard which is a huge advantage when you have a phone strapped to your face for 20-30 minutes at a time. That said, if you have sensitive skin, you may want to do a test run before placing it on your face because sensitive skin…
