The newly launched YouTube Music Key service has been rumored for some time, and it seems like a great deal from the user perspective. For $9.99 per month you get a much improved music experience on YouTube (offline playback, background streaming, no ads, etc.) and artists get some additional revenue. However, when an artist isn’t on board with Music Key, things get tricky.
According to Bloomberg, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has expressed concern regarding the potential misuse of platform content by OpenAI’s Sora, an AI-driven video creation tool.
