Entertainment Buddha's Nick Hershey writes: "Every time I get a new phone, I always struggle with whether or not to use a screen protector. I know in advance that the cheap protector I usually end up getting will result in bubbles and eventual scratches and a less-than-ideal texture after extended use. But at least the screen stays nice until the protector’s adhesive starts to go and I just rip it off six months later.
This time around, I had the opportunity to test out the Zlate Shield for the iPhone 6 (also available in 6 Plus), and there’s a definite difference. The most obvious change is that this is tempered glass, as opposed to a flimsy piece of plastic. The application was fairly easy, and even included an alcohol prep pad and a soft screen wipe as well. The screen boasts a solid quality lineup: HD clear premium tempered ballistic glass, .33mm thin, 9H hardness for anti-scratch, shatterproof, highly sensitive, anti-fingerprint, and possibly most important: bubble free."
