Origin PC announced has announced its new EON17-X and EON15-X high-performance laptops for gamers, artist, professionals and enthusiasts.
Origin EON17-X is claimed to be a “desktop replacement”. This big, aggressive looking laptop tries to achieve that by using the best possible hardware available. On what planet does that replace an equivalent desktop? Even with the current gouge on GPUs, those parts can be assembled in a decent case with a good PSU and equivalent monitor for little over half as much.
The Origin EON17-X is a true desktop replacement, featuring a large screen and desktop CPU. The only thing missing from this equation is a full-on graphics chip.
