Millionaires fight over pennies. There is no reason for Marriott to think people can just steal others personal data, by using a personal hot spot.

I'd just use open garden. Problem solved. (at least for me) And besides, who'd want to use filtered internet coming from a hotel if they can avoid it. A good deal of the time, they tend to block legitimate sites like n4g.
