VRFocus: Virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMD) have proved to be something of a hit with car manufacturers. Last month Abarth revealed a digital tour of its factory in Turin, Italy using the Oculus Rift HMD and just last week Volvo showcased a virtual test drive using the Google Cardboard HMD. Now it’s Chrysler’s turn to reveal a VR promotional experience, in which viewers will have one of the company’s cars built around them.
Daily Video Game writes: "The online retailer Amazon is offering 25% off on Oculus Rift S PC-Powered VR Gaming Headset. If you’re looking for a new VR headset, make sure to take advantage of this deal!"
Files in Oculus’ PC application have revealed the name of the next VR headset to succeed the Oculus Rift, the RIFT S.
Both Dash and Home have seen makeovers.
