I'm keep my nexus 5 and I guarantee it will get that lollipop update day one. Thats why I bought the n5 and not the s4 because of OS updates even the nexus 4 got the newest updates to this day. Plus I think my phone size is perfect and I payed only $300 shipped brand new unlocked with my special direct discount.

You can always update it.

In all fairness i'm not quite sure what people think phones are going to do any better now.

Better screens? 1080p is overkill.

Quad core, Unless gaming it isn't needed. I would prefer controls for games. Not screen touches.

lollipop is the same thing, done faster.

You could always get another launcher,ui in another rom./

If you're looking for a powerful phablet, Samsung's device looks like a winner with no other smartphone coming anywhere near it, until upcoming rivals are launched officially. Our best bet is Nexus 5 (2015) with vanilla android experience.
