Was about to come in here and say the same thing. The guy was an asshole to both his work colleagues and family. He died early for a good reason, because he didnt give a shit about anybody.

Making out like he's the one who alone made the Ipod, the Iphone and Macintosh is just plain insulting to the real masterminds behind it all.

So the guy above you... Stole your comment?

ps360s3452d ago

He may stole ideas...

but he made the industry what it is today...without S.Jobs we might be abit slow on the smartphone front and tablet front of things :)

I am not much of a Apple fan (love the iphone 3gs tho and the macbooks are good, I must admit, even though it's abit overpriced)

With all of the smart phone zombies walking around, it perhaps wouldn't have been so bad if they were delayed. Smartphones are turning people into self focused morons. Taking pictures of food, selfies, etc they are creating chasms not bridging the divide.

Look around nowadays....it is sad really.

On topic, Jobs was a self absorbed ego maniac. The sad thing is that with all that money he made (MILLIONS) not a single dime was ever given to help anyone. He did not give to charity.

even if without the fast growing smartphone/tablet tech...we properly be stuck at home on the internet!

It has it's bad and it's goods :)

I don't know...but there is always something else to replace it if the smartphone/tablet didn't hit off...

Jobs is a self absorbed ego maniac but truth ...who isn't...most people who has a status are, but like to act good...

Jobs just a straightforward kinda guy, but we all have to admit that he is one of these guys who help built the industry

There's lots of Apple / Jobs haters...

Woz is the dude, Jobs is the arse, but a lot of tech wouldn't be where it is today without Jobs.

Disagree all you want, but if you study the history of personal computing, Os's and such and put the fanboy aside, you'll realise the impact he had.
