Microsoft's Strategy for Band is a Lot Like Google's (without the creepy personal data abuse thing)

The hot new personal electronic device? An iPhone, a Galaxy something, a successor the Lumia 1020 (I wish!)? Naw, those are all so passé. Unless you've been living under a rock since Wednesday night you know I'm talking about the Microsoft Band. The wearable fitness/Smartwatch combo that took the world by surprise this week and is already a huge success. Success has many measures. Media buzz is a good start, positive Reviews by respected Sites another, and the Band has received all of these. But the piece de resistance is - the early sell out.

This is one thing I really like about Microsoft over Google, Amazon, Apple ect is they always make their products work with multiple devices.

I really hope they can make this product a success as for me ide rather have something like this on my wrist than a smart watch that needs charging every few hours and costs £350 to £400.

Microsoft really need to start opening their own stores outside of the US to show off the products they name make as for me this, Surface Pro 3, Surface 2, Lumia phones and more are some of the best devices are the best on the market.
