This fake phone has raised nearly $8,000 on Kickstarter

Phone addiction is real, and there’s a Kickstarter campaign geared towards combating that, or at least that’s what they want you to think. Forged from the fiery plastic cauldrons, the NoPhone is essentially a block of plastic that looks similar to an iPhone. You can’t make calls or send nude Snapchats to your lover because it’s not a phone…really.

It's called nomophobia. It is a real addiction. Check out this site. http://www.phonearena.com/n...

@Spenok - The addiction may be real but I doubt they're doing it for that purpose.

The sad thing is this isn't the first time they have tried to Kickstart this: https://www.kickstarter.com...
It originally had a goal of $30,000 and made just over $10,000.

If they can just drop from 30k right down to 5k then it's clear this is just a piss take and should be treated as such. The 'Selfie Edition'is pretty funny though.

Here's to hoping these funds go to charity, otherwise wtf.

Sadly there is no talk about this. Seems like the biggest troll of a project ever, even though I suspect they will actually deliver the product. Easiest money ever made?

This is the biggest kickstarter troll ever, and he was successful... all he wanted was $10, and he managed to get over $55,000.
