Android 5.0 Lollipop SDK now available

Following Lollipop's unveiling earlier this week, Google has today taken the wraps off the Android 5.0 SDK, allowing developers to start getting apps ready for the final version of the upcoming OS. Lollipop is a huge release for developers, with more than 5000 new APIs, the new Material Design visual style and new power-saving and enterprise features to get to grips with. And while the first Android 5.0 devices aren't expected for another couple of weeks, the arrival of the SDK will allow devs to make sure everything's working perfectly when the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 eventually launch.
