Am testing Windows 10, and am liking it.

What are the main improvements?

JamshiJack2456d ago

One of the Main improvements is Start Button with full functional Start Menu with Live Tile on the right and usual applications on the left as well as booting to the desktop on system that has no touch input. And search on the Start menu has been enhanced to bring up result from web as well. And you have new Virtual Desktop feature which actually works like system with multi-display setup. You can also snap up to 4 windows side by side making multitasking even easier. There is a new Search icon which lets you search trending and recent searches and it can also search the web. And something Desktop and laptop users without touch input would appreciate is the Metro apps now load on Desktop view with usual close, Maximize, Minimize buttons. It is a preview and some features may not be stable and could change in the future...but overall it looks great and you get a Windows 7 + 8 experience. I think people would stop complaining about Windows 8 shortcomings after Windows 10 release, and they will realize that Windows 8 is the stepping stone for all these improvements and new level of experience when using an OS like Windows.
