Then the supplies needed to house the 1 million folks. Space crafts that large would have to be assembled in space. All fitted with suits to combat radiation, oxygen supply not only for the trip but they stay on Mars. Who will fit the bill for this that would be in the 100's of trillion dollars? next thing you know they will say they will manufacture worm holes and that large crafts can approach the speed of light when we know they can't. Great story but so was Buck Rodgers. Besides what would Marvin the Martian say? Maybe this.....
I thought the same. I say we send Mr. Elon Musk in the first crew out to Mars, let him go out there and be a pioneer and come back and tell us how it was to live on Mars. I think Mr. Musk thinks up this stuff because he is a billionaire -- so , to him , he is thinking out of the box. The existence of humanity will not last forever because people don't know how to live in peace and love thy neighbor as thyself. The invention of nuclear weapons and all the wars that mankind has fought lends credence to the statement that humanity will not last forever. Jesus said that had the days not been shortened before his second coming there would no human survive. I believe he was speaking to the point that humans would literally annihilate themselves right off the face of the planet. GOD BE WITH US !!!!
Where does he plan on having them live? He means 1 million live people right? It would be much more cost effective to send the Duggars.
