There’s no doubt that for many people, cellphones have gone from being a mere accessory to an appendage, but recent surveys are now indicating that “cellphone addiction” could be the next major psychological disorder.
That's the fear of not having your cellphone around. Not the same thing by strict definition. Edit - No idea why I got a disagree.
Yeah its not same, but its close and related so I just thought I would give it a mention. :)
More like, NoMo'phonia
Could? I think we are far past the could stage in most 1st world countries.
I'm not addicted matter fact I rarely use it, I only use for an emergency or something, other then it's collecting dust. I also it's a sliding phone an old style. It's amazing how someone can get addicted to cellphone, facebook, and candycrush it's just game base off bejewels.
I stairred on my phone for nothing on break time at work.. just to avoid talking to dumb-ass people at work. on purpose.
I do that a lot too.
Kids have no idea phones arnt part of life, because to them it is. Of course they will be addicted to it...
I'm glad I wasn't born in the late 90s.
I won't give a phone to my children until they are at least 15/16 as I don't think they need it and wouldn't want them to be dependant on the stimuli.
