8CN: Jobs are kind of a big deal. Robots are kind of a big deal (and super cool). Looking into the future and the spread of technology it’s natural to worry about more and more jobs being replaced by machines and robots. Most factories have at least some level of robotics on the floor. Data is frequently analyzed by programs with an ever increasing level of sophistication that is rapidly approaching intelligence. It can seem like there is no economic niche or specialty that humans can’t be squeezed out of. Could sex workers be lined up right next to factory workers in the unemployment line in the near future?
