This week we’re hearing more about the next generation of Nexus tablet greatness, the Nexus 9. This device (codenamed Flounder/Volantis) is set to replace the soon-to-be-empty spot in Google Play with a machine that closely resembles the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. This begins with HTC manufacturing and ends with a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra SoC.
"The Nexus 9 was launched recently and the tablet from Google and HTC has created quite the hype, especially since it comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The Nexus 9 slate is the Nexus 7 successor and comes as an attempt to upgrade the Nexus 7 as well as set an example of a great compact tablet running stock Android."
Gearburn writes: "Although devices like the iPad are often foremost in our minds, it is certainly not the only way to go when it comes to tablets. Below are the six best tablets released this year, especially if you’re looking to fill a particularly large Christmas stocking."
The LTE Nexus 9 has just been made available for purchase at various retailers including the Google Play Store. Even though the new HTC slate is a bit pricey, it is already being called one of the best tablets you can find on the market.
600 is quite a steep price in my opinion. It's an excellent tablet but very pricey.
