I'm not arguing against that, what they did was wrong but the entire thing is an awkward situation. No one wanted the Jews so they built their own country but who's genius idea was it to build it next to the zealous Muslims? Muslims feel cheated & attack Israelis, Israelis retaliate.

Of course IDK what this is really about & no one ever really will but I get the gist that it's about part religion & part territorial, either way both sides should be condemned for every single fatality on both sides, they're both just as guilty for the deaths on their own side as the other side is.

They didn't simply build it next to Muslims. They pretty much took Muslim land and gave it to them even though it was never there's to give.

Not the Palestinian's can't even live in their own land peacefully which is being gradually taken away by the building of Israeli settlements. These settlements are built deliberately to extend Israel's land mass. The longer Israeli's live there the more difficult it is for anyone to move them out and give it back to Palestine.

@ChrisJack. MANY people know what's going on and what it's about. If you don't you need to either get online and educate yourself about the situation there, or at the least stop pretending it's all some kind of 50-50 situation, with equal blame.

It's not. It's Israel ignoring international agreements, ignoring human rights, oppressing and killing innocent people, and making the Palestinian territories an impossible place to live in (almost no clean water, almost no electricity, killing live-stock, not allowing building materials like concrete, cement, glass and metal, etc etc.).

It's been doing this for well over 50 years. And yes, of course there's resistance from (a small portion of) the Palestinians.

This is state-terrorism. And it should be condemned by every nation on the planet, and everyone with a heart.

This is very similar to the Cyprus problem, a small island country right next to Israel where Turkey invaded in 1974 and took 1/3 of their island and created 150,000 refugees in their own country in the process. They still occupy that country blatantly ignoring human rights and European/International agreements.

If you need fresh innocent blood to act then you already forgot and forgave. Or is Turkey too big and mighty for you?

I'm not Israeli or even Jewish, but Gaza sort of brought this on itself.

They shoot Qassam rockets at Israel despite 99% of them being shot down, and only a select few hitting targets from the ones which aren't. Meanwhile, Israeli attacks often hit their mark. It requires a special type of stupidity to continue to fire unsuccessful rockets which provoke successful responses under the guise of "defending yourself".

If Gaza had not fired rockets, and had simply been a victim, not a combatant, things would be different, and they might deserve our pity, but as it stands, they have handed Israel a casus belli on a silver platter, and now the latter are going to deal with a country which has been a thorn in their side for years.

Anonymous are well-intentioned, but they're only going to lose public support when they take sides on divisive issues such as this (including my own).

Israel kill children because they're being used as human shields by Hamas fighters. Thus, these deaths are on the hands of Hamas, and not Israel, in the same way the deaths of child soldiers are the fault of the people who use them, not the ones who shoot them. I don't think for one second that an Israeli would tell you they actually want to kill kids, but the best way to stop the practice is to render it an ineffective tactic.

Honestly, Israel have my full, unequivocal support in this endeavour.

I've done my research. According to a paper by Jager and Passerman (2005) the trend is for Palestine to kill Israelis with rockets, Israel to respond and kill Palestinians, Palestine to fire more rockets, and if these kill, Israel respond, whereas if they don't, Israel do not. But Palestine always fire rockets, so when one kills people, Israel respond, and this time it seems they've had enough.

As for the second argument, I think I've given a sound reason.

Perhaps you're right and I'm nothing more than a halfwit, but that's the way I see it, whether I'm stupid or not.

Yes both sides are attacking each other, that is war, you are not going to get a side that lets the other country continuously bomb them without repercussions however the Palestinians have lacklustre army barely even a military to speak of, just rebels that have armed themselves to defend their country.

At what point do you think these few, demilitarised, rebels, pick a fight with a advanced military power house!?

Israel continuously for decades upon decades have voided any human rights for Palestinians they have surrounded the country with trained military personnel on all borders that block anything getting in & out.

This week an Israeli MP (Ayelet Shaked) has actually publicly called out for genocide stating that - "All Palestinians should be murdered & when they have finished with that they should then murder all their mothers so they cannot reproduce!"

That's the talk of a new holocaust!

During the AGREED ceasefire from both sides at the beginning of this week. Israel yet again bombed Gaza killing more innocent Palestinians. Not the other way around & yet you still agree with his utterly inaccurate ridiculous comments.
