There was a battery leak issue with the 5.0 but now it seems it's resolved with the 5.1 update. I have this phone and I have got the update.

LG G3 will upgrade to Android Lollipop soon

"Earlier today, an LG representative said something similar when he stated that the LG G3 flagship smartphone will receive Android Lollipop by the end of the year. G3 is LG's flagship so it's obvious that it would get the lollipop treatment sooner or later.

It's important that it updates sooner rather than later because people are curious about Lollipop and want to buy a phone that runs it. The ones that update soon will certainly benefit from it.
