An artist looks forward to install a house on the surface of the moon

How about a nice, little, cozy house on the surface of the moon ? You can spend your time gazing at the stars, flashing meteors, rolling asteroids and as well, our very own earth seeming to revolve around you, by lying on the gravity-less surface.

This however is not a meant for residence. It would be an art installation- we can cherish about

However if everything gets on well with this, and if moon turns into a habitable one in the future i.e. it supports life . Thus, this will never be just an art installation- it can habitable. Something significant that will let us know about the stability of constructions on the surface of the moon.

with all the things in the world that need major help and attention i think this is something really wasteful

I love this idea... but, most from a very dark humor perspective. Imagine 5,000 years from now, Earth is completely uninhabitable due to temperature/water levels.

Fast forward 500,000 years. Another species is exploring. They'd spend decades studying what was left behind on Earth. Eventually, one of them might look at the moon. They may visit it. And from everything they studied about our remains on Earth... they find a little red house, all by itself on the moon, and think "What. The. $&%^?"

It would confuse them so much.

This is going to be like our modern day Stonehenge.

Perhaps they could put a convenience store/gas station combo on the other side of the moon to REALLY make things confusing.

Then they'll have there own crack pot scientists trying to explain it "it was has from the inside of the moon"

Audiggity3618d ago

Call me crazy, but, I am going to bet that a hyper advanced species that can travel across the universe faster than the speed of light won't begin a sentence with "it was has".

However... IF they do, I will completely regret not being around to see it.

Now I'm just picturing a bunch of large-headed people wandering around saying "I can haz cheezburger? Let go in at the ship and fliez!"

I meant "GAS", my keyboard is messed up.

It's a play on scientists always saying it's gas or ball lightning to try and explain things....

Audiggity3618d ago

Dang.

I really liked "it was has". Gas just makes too much sense.

:)

We all need to take the sense hell outta a lot of people, using sense doesn't make too much sense this days you gotta be crazy as hell.
