In a nutshell, while the Galaxy Note series has successfully filled the “phablet” gap like none other, in essence the “Note” line-up consisted in flagship smartphones that come at a price. Needless to say, Samsung has realized that there are numerous phablet enthusiasts out there who would enjoy owning a productivity tool, but are not necessarily willing to pay top-dollar for it.
