Ever wondered what it was like to drown? It’s not a common thought, but you have to admit that once in a while we wonder about things like this.
I would not like to know...
I've almost drowned twice as a kid, both times on separate trips to the beach. One of those times while trying to save my mother from drowning. One of the most terrible feeling ever. Trying to gasp for air but only getting water, not knowing which way is up or how long you have left. 25 seconds can feel like eternity. Luckily we both got out of that ok. I honestly don't recommend it. Lol I guess chickens can't swim either.
Why did the lifeguard cross the shoreline?
Why? Also why did I get agrees & disagrees? There was nothing to agree or disagree with... Well besides maybe that last line.
To get to the drowning chicken. Not sure why you're getting agrees/disagrees, though.
@Porcelain - Because N4G. You get disagrees for no reason.
I disagree for no raisins.
Ask the people at the illegal prison guantanamo
Never want to experience this one.
one word: DESPERATION
Yeeeeeeah, no. I can barely swim as it is. Throw me into an ocean in the middle of nowhere with no help and I'm screwed. I would hate to be drowning. As a kid it was one of the worst things I've ever experienced. :/
you drowned when you were a kid? lol
Get off me man. lol
Sounds funny. But I think you should not laugh.
Were you in the middle of the ocean ever? lolz
Nah I was just trying to make a point. Meaning with no help, I would probably drown. lol
Horrible I almost did when I was little and usually I cant remember much but I remember this like it was yesterday. You just drift downward more and more no matter how hard you try to fight struggling for that breath of air. Everything in your body tenses up and its very difficult to move. I was only under water for a few seconds but it felt like minutes until I was brought up by my dad. Its the feel of helplessness to yourself you cant do nothing but watch yourself just fade away. I was very lucky and thankfully became a decent swimmer after growing up.
My father saved my mother & i from drowning aswell in the story i told above. Thank god for father's quick reactions and good abilites to swim.. I'm still a terrible swimmer though. And i'll probably never go near water again. I wish i had the guts to go in your route. Maybe one day.
It was not easy I was terrified for years it took till I was about 12-13 to actually get the courage to try swimming in a pool without any protection to keep me afloat. Even then I was still very cautious and would have a break down if anyone tried to dunk me.
I have drowned before I actually died I saw myself floating on top of the the water and I saw who saved me too but it's like breathing water
I heard drowning to death is worse than burning to death
I almost drown when I was 8, I thought putting a pilow cover on my head would allow me to breath underwater. The pilow cover got so tight around my face(It was very scary)
Did you tie the cover around your neck or something?
No, it just got very tight and the panic I suppose. Kinda how when your shorts get when you get out of a pool or the beach.
not your brightest moment...even for an 8 year old
looool good thing he made it out
Oh, I understand.
