The Steve Jobs email that outlined Apple’s strategy a year before his death

In 2010, a year before his death, Steve Jobs outlined Apple’s strategy in an email to the company’s 100 most senior employees. He heralded the “Post PC era,” vowed “Holy War with Google,” promised to “further lock customers into our ecosystem,” and warned that Apple was “in danger of hanging on to old paradigm too long.”

Gawd I'm tired about hearing about Steve Jobs.

blacktiger3662d ago

Oh my god I never thought of saying that because I feel the same way!

Steve jobs just takes credit for what other people do. Its so irritating that the dumb masses hail him as some savior and genious. He aint shit!

Well, I think he is a marketing genius, in that he understood that appealing to the mass market is as easy as treating them all like three year olds.

lets face it, he took apple were they needed to go,
he scared the shit out of every mp3 manufacturer,
he made lazy mobile hone operators sit up up and try harder,
and whilst he may not have ever relly taken the os wars to m$ he did make even m#4 sit up and think we need to do it bettter. So yeah you can all say your fed up of hearing about him, but without him and his vision, we'd all still be in the dark ages.
