Sam Volkering of Tech Insider breaks down the 'Billion Dollar Trends of the Next 10 Years'
"The first trend is the idea of a transition from bureaucratic hierarchy to technology driven networks. That means the power of government, business and the military will shift. It will distribute across networks, and new forms of power will exist. Technology networks like Reddit, Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter drive this shift in power.
The second big trend is termed ‘Unbundling’. Unbundling describes how we now demand products and services come to market. This trend is two-fold. It sees long established businesses fail. And they fail as new, young start-ups disrupt industry and become billion dollar businesses in their own right."
