Facebook Purchases Oculus VR

VRFocus: It has been announced that social networking site Facebook is set to acquire Oculus VR, the makers of the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset. The company will be bought for approximately $2 billion USD. The transaction should be finalised in the second quarter of 2014, meaning between April and June.

don't know how this will fare out for FB but it seems like they're really trying to stay relevant for many more years to come with these acquisitions. It may just work...
