WPCentral - Earlier this afternoon, we reported that Microsoft Stores were getting stock of the new Surface 2 with LTE, destined for AT&T. At the time, we were unable to post photos due to a confidentiality request. Since that time we have ascertained more information, which we can share with you now.
In October, Microsoft did something it's never done before, it generated more revenue selling its Surface line of PC/tablet hybrids to online consumers than Apple made selling iPads, according to data from 1010data.
The Verge: Microsoft's Surface just had a very healthy quarter, bringing the company $1.1 billion in revenue. While we don't actually know how many units that is, Microsoft says that most of them were its newest model, the Surface Pro 3, which outsold its predecessor, the Surface 2, three to one. So it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that Microsoft is shifting its focus to the newer version instead. Today the company said it plans to stop making the Surface 2 in favor of focusing on the Surface Pro 3.
Technology Raise- iPad Air has launched in market. Gadgets lover are wondering that how it will stand against newly launched Microsoft Surface 2. Is there any comparison between two?
So let’s compare these two tablets and see how to stand against each other. But before beginning let’s have a look on what iPad Air and Windows Surface 2 are?
I couldn't tell it any better , You're absolutely right :
"If you're a power user used to fast custom PCs or even Mac towers, then absolutely they suck in every way. Even something as simple as YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch TV playback looks terrible compared to desktop viewing.
For casual, non critical passive use, they're great if not very expensive for what they do in terms of productivity."
