Recode: Professional Yahoo internal chatter sharer and memo leaker Swisher, of Re/code, recently reported that Yahoo has a couple projects codenamed “Fast Break” and “Curve Ball,” which are designed to help wean Yahoo off of its Microsoft partnership. Now, she’s reporting that there’s another (apparently non-search related) project in the works called Touchdown:
Mirolta : Yahoo released an updated version of their iOS including its new acquisition, Summly. The same thing is going to happen with the Android now. This app makes the lengthy articles a short description for you making it easy for people to get the meaning of the article in easy language. The new Yahoo app looks practically similar to its iOS counterpart and it contains the same list of the features that are never ending visual stream of various new stories, an enhanced web search including videos and images along with sharing them on Twitter and Facebook.
I don't expect Yahoo to do exactly what Google Play or iTunes is doing. Let's hope for something new and innovative!
