TechImperia - The debate on which really is the "thinnest smartphone in the world" is going on from some time now, people always wonder is it the iPhone 5s, is it Huawei Ascend P6 or is it the Vivo X Play 3. But to tell you the truth today Gionee has snatch that title for its newly announced Gionee Elife S5.5.
Now that the majority of smartphones sport dual rear cameras, we aren’t impressed anymore. Probably this is why some of the new models are going to come with no less than four sensors. We have seen similar devices before, and the next one to arrive will be the Gionee S11.
I still think that it's better to have one good sensor. The pixel 2 is a good example.
Gionee launched two new handsets on Monday and one of them, the Gionee M7 goes on sale today in China. The Gionee M7 Power will start selling only on Saturday. Customers in China can purchase the M7 for CNY 2,799 ($423) starting today and they will get quite a nice smartphone for this sum.
Gionee M2017 Smartphone With 7000mAh Battery, 6GB of RAM Launched in China with a hefty base price of CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 68,400).
Curious to see how long these Chinese phones with "amazing" specs last in the long run vs the more popular brands.
Soon there will be a phone that will be as thin as a playing card.
Pretty cool but I've never seen a Gionee device so god knows that the software on it looks like and the battery life might be a bit risky.
