Tech Imperia - It seems the Indian handset maker Karbonn is all set to add another feather to it’s hat of already crowded budget handset line up, as a new device from the company has just been spotted online on a popular e-retailer website.
The Android One program has just taken its first few steps in India with a great launch involving three new $100 devices. The Android One program is Google’s initiative to offer pure Android mid-range phones for small prices to emerging markets like India. The new Android One line included the Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1 and Spice Dream Uno. Sundar Pichai also announced future partners including HTC, Lenovo, Panasonic and Xolo.
Google has unveiled its first set of Android One low-cost smartphones in the Indian market, partnering with Indian hardware vendors Spice, Micromax and Karbonn. The three phones will be available online on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal and via Reliance Digital, Croma and The Mobile Store, offline.
