Gadgetgyaan: Japanese multinational company Fujifilm is going hot these days with their introduction of their high end cameras. Today, they had launched their new camera X-T1. Well, this is a mirrorless camera and the company claims that it is the world’s fastest camera in terms of auto-focus with a rate of upto 8 shots per second.
Despite its price point, it’s probably one of the most well-priced units in the range. The use cases for the camera are always welcome and there’s always a party or two to attend where it will be appreciated, provided you’re willing to spare some film.

The Verge: Fujifilm is getting into surveillance cameras with the SX800, a long-range surveillance camera with a 40x optical zoom that’s designed to offer security at international borders and large commercial facilities. It’s got a built-in lens with a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 20mm to 800mm, and an additional digital zoom of 1.25x. Combined, Fujifilm says this gives the SX800 a total equivalent focal length of 1000mm, which is enough to focus on a car’s license plate from 1km or roughly 0.6 miles away.
