Ian DeMartino of Segment.com writes "In Cisco’s 2014 Annual Security Report, 30 of the “world’s largest multinational company networks” were tested by Cisco security experts and all 30 of them were found to send “visitor traffic to [websites] that host malware.”
The report comes as Cisco warns companies and consumers that cybercriminals are “using trusted applications to exploit gaps in perimeter security.”
The news doesn’t get much better from there. While 100% of the tested companies’ servers are “calling malicious malware hosts.” 96% of them communicated with hijacked servers and 92% sent traffic to websites that were devoid of content. Such sites typically host malicious code."
As per the court documents, between June 11, 2015, and August 23, 2018, Petrill ordered 41 Cisco 3850 switches that were expected to be installed on the Horry County network.
Cisco's “There’s Never Been a Better Time” campaign goes out of this world.
