TechnoBuffalo: "Nokia hasn’t had the best luck trying to market the Lumia 2520. First, the company tried to push its Windows RT tab by mocking Apple’s iPad in an ad that ultimately fell flat, and now a new commercial comparing the device to the mullet hairstyle (“business in the front and party in the back”) tries for quirky but comes off as creepy instead."
The Verge: Microsoft was left alone as the last manufacturer of Windows RT-based tablets, and now the software giant is no longer producing any RT devices. A Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed to The Verge that the company is no longer manufacturing its Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet. "We are no longer manufacturing Nokia Lumia 2520; however, those still eager to buy Nokia Lumia 2520 should visit Microsoft Retail Stores, MicrosoftStore.com, third-party retailers and resellers for the latest availability." The confirmation comes just a week after Microsoft revealed it has stopped manufacturing the Surface 2, another Windows RT tablet.
I got 2 windows RT tablets a windows surface 1 and a ASUS RT tablets both still use perfect for everyday use.
Windows RT is easy to use, and well-suited for this form factor as well as for designs of productivity.
Nokia has suspended sales of the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet over fears that the charger could give you an electric shock.
Anyone with a Lumia 2520 in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Russia, Switzerland and UK is "strongly advised to suspend use of the AC-300 charger until further notice."
Mirolta : This is the era of tablet and phablet and the moment has come from Nokia to launch its first ever windows tablet. The device has been rumored for months, guessing on its looks and features and its present launch is anticipated to be a Lumia style tablet. It is enhanced with all features users would anticipate from Nokia and just feels like a bigger version of Lumia phone. It is still a matter of doubt if this tablet could stand the competition with Apple’s iPad and the rest of the tablet war.....
Looks like an honestly good tablet... however, I was hoping that they'd go with Tegra, instead of Snapdragon.
Since I'm in the market for a new Win8 OS tablet, I'll most definitely look more into this one before I write it off.
