it so great it killed my 100% charged battery in under 4 hours. i removed whatsapp first and tested this one on its own to get a fair result. i'll stick to whatsapp. pointless using an awesome app for 4 hours and not being able to use my entire phone after that. yeah yeah, i could charge it again but i bought a cellphone not a landline.

HTC one X+.
whatsapp running whole day 3G, i get roughly 9 hours with medium usage.
BBM with same usage, 4hours maybe lil more but yeah.

i dont get it either.

weird my s3 uses no more battery with bbm running than without :S

Same here. BBM is negligible when it comes to battery life on my Nexus 4.

Probably something wrong with your phone

been using the phone for a while now. never had battery issues till BBM installed. after removal and back to whatsapp phone lasts as long as it should. so dont think its the phone. anyways, this weekend if i have time il install it again. unless the Custom rom has something to do with it.

BBM is rubbish. Wechat and Whatsapp craps all over it. Blackberry is done. The sooner people realise that, the better.
