TechCrunch- With the launch of Windows 8.1 just around the corner, Microsoft today announced a new storage option for SkyDrive. The cloud storage service, which is now a built-in Windows 8.1 feature, now offers a 200GB storage plan for $100 per year. Until today, the largest paid storage upgrade Microsoft offered was 100GB for $50 per year.
Point games: On the occasion of winter holidays as Microsoft began to send users who have Windows Phone, email invitations so that they can activate the use of 20 GB in SkyDrive.
this is good! wish i had this for my andriod i seem to have disappearing internal memory syndrome LOL my 16 gb internal has 2 gigs of movies and 1 gig of apps and i only have 1.5 gigs free???? thanks Note 1 i guess samsung is tryna make me upgrade
ReadWrite: Microsoft denied that it provides the U.S. government (or any other) with "blanket or direct access to SkyDrive, Outlook.com, Skype, or any Microsoft product." The company issued its statement in response to a Guardian report yesterday that alleged Skype has been funneling user data into the NSA's alleged PRISM surveillance program since 2011.

In April 2012, Microsoft finally made a decision and re-releases a much advanced desktop client and has been updating the service since then.
