Think this is now the start of the end of BlackBerry. I wish it was not as it would be nice to have 4 big players in the market but I just don't see it happening.

this is the end of blackberry. bbm was the onli reason lots people was sticking around mostly young school kids and ghetto girls now its over

the world has moved on from BBM to kik messenger and whatsapp. BBM has lost its place among users. trying to get them back is grasping at straws.

sorry but those are nothing compared to BBM.

I have an Android and i miss that stable app and it was free. Whats app isn't free once you get used to it and it isn't as seamless as BBM.

Kik... not responding... oh right... Videochat on other apps aren't as clean and smooth as BBM...IDK but will BMM run as good on the other OS?

KingPin3870d ago

videochat...android and iOS versions will not have videochat. therefore its a whatsapp. i dont know what stability you talking about. i had it on and HTC Desire Z, samasung galaxy ace advance, S3 and all ran well.

whatsapp is free in that you dont pay to download and use it on android...you do pay for data by your network. the same applies to BBM on android. i dont know what country you from but in SA we had to pay 60ZAR/month for BIS. it was equivalent to paying for BBM. BIS didn't even cover youtube.

also BBM was made for a specific set of hardware..lets see how they manage to handle the plethora of different hardware configurations that come with android phones.

after 1 year of using whats app you're required to pay

http://www.whatsapp.com/faq...

whats app doesn't even have videochat, there is a data lag of receiving msg from other whats app users. I believe Skype is faster.

Just saying that even though the Android universe has so many different apps for communication I still prefer BBM on the OS10. How will it translate on the other platforms.. well you said it best"lets see how they manage to handle" if they can even...

Does Whatsapp really charge? I have been using it for 3 years without paying. Whenever my due date reaches, it tells me I get another year free.

one of the main things about bbm is that people dnt see when you were last online and you have a code instead of ur phone number your giving out.

Now all I need is a decent Android phone with a physical keyboard! I hate touch screen typing!
