Microsoft no longer a top Linux kernel contributor

The Register- After making headlines with its unexpectedly voluminous contributions to the Linux kernel in 2012, Microsoft has all but disappeared from the Linux development scene, according the latest report from the Linux Foundation.

This is one thing I like about Microsoft is they make software for more or less everyone unlike Apple and Google.

That said I don't think we will ever see Linux become a big fore in desktop and laptop Computers. I've not used it for around 6 years now but I always found my self needing to boot into windows to do most tasks but I can see why people use it.
