Geek - As cool as Glass may be for those who have been able to get their hands on it, there’s always been an unspoken understanding that the consumer version would be different. Thanks to a patent recently awarded to one of the industrial designers on the Glass team, we may have a better idea of what that final product could look like.

Modern technology is built into new smart glasses now being offered by Waterloo, Canada-based North, formerly Thalmic Labs. Focals feature a transparent holographic display built into its lenses that only the wearer can see.
Google partner Streye is selling Google Glass Enterprise Edition for $1,800.
