I'm sorry, but this is just wrong. While this tech might (and I stress the word might) be good for covert ops, being able to turn off video recording at will is just crap. With all the recent line of cops abusing their power, they want to add even more power? A serious line needs to be drawn.
looks like ill have to walk around with a old camera in my pocket to capture the cops doing dirty work. soon it will be law, and secretly worked into all phone/mobile oses.

Solution - disable any and all wireless communication on the phone first. That way no can tell your phone what to do.
