I'm sure they are indeed trying to make this thing a beast in a very, very small package. They want it to be the only wearable gadget you need (for now). They probably would want to extend this as far as one could reach. I think about the extensive range of iPhone accessories (still mostly unrealized) that exist in medical fields, fitness, nutrition, and far beyond that into other categories, and you can imagine how much could be done with one powerful device on your wrist, some APIs, and developers.
I still can't over the idea that the guy that couldn't improve the CS Suite at Adobe in 10 years got a job at Apple. Apple is doomed.
