PhoneDog - HTC, in an effort to prove to the mobile world that it was far from being forgotten, released the HTC One earlier this year. The release of this device received a widely popular reaction, mostly due to its unique design for an Android device. The material used to design the device, aluminum, is what many considered a welcome change in a world full of Androids that primarily uses polycarbonate as housing.
The HTC One M7 is one of the best smartphones of yester-year and even though Android 5.0 Lollipop is still not being released for the handset, users who are not in the mood to wait until next year might have a solution. The LiquidSmooth ROM fir the HTC One M7 is now available and is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop AOSP.
I wonder why the initial 5.0.1 Lollipop rollout didn't include the 5.0.2 features?
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been sent out to most Google Play Edition devices, as well as some Motorola and LG smartphones, but we are yet to see it show up on the HTC One M8 and One M7. After numerous delays caused by Google not accepting the build propositions from HTC, we can finally say that we have an official Android 5.0 Lollipop update release date for the HTC One M8 and One M7.
Not too far behind the nexus 5. It's a great update significant improvement to my battery life.
The HTC One (M8) for Windows might feature an uncanny resemblance to the Android-based One (M8), down to the looks, camera and battery size, but interestingly, despite its equally sized, 2600mAh battery, the Windows Phone 8.1 device has longer battery life.
android needs to go back to removing some of the default apps installed. infact id rather have a lighweight, bare bones OS and install each app as i need.
I'm pretty sure that most people use their headphones. Here at least, in the uk blasting music through your phone is seen as a nuisance.
