HTC targets Galaxy Note 3 with rumored 6-inch One Max

The Verge: Samsung's highly successful Galaxy Note family has already spawned a number of competitors — from LG's ill-fated Optimus Vu to Sony's upcoming Xperia Z Ultra — and now HTC looks to be joining the fray with a 6-inch, 1080p device dubbed the One Max. Citing sources familiar with HTC's plans, Mobile Geeks reports that the One Max should be expected in September, though its spec sheet will be materially different from the One we know today. A 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip is expected to lie at the heart of the One Max, allied to 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, and a 3200mAh battery.
