Tech Trader Daily: Apple has been very quiet so far this year, but Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry thinks that the past six months have been time very well spent for the company’s efforts to overhaul its iOS mobile operating system.
Jony Ive is a genius when it comes to design. I expect only great things from him.
Take a look at the Braun's product designs, and then try to say that again.
lol no way. They cannot stray to far and radically from the current design because the OS has not changed much over the years and the users are so used to it. Thats the problem, they got soo caught up in the patent wars they forgot about their customers and now they want to be more aggressive with them. looool They just lost against a samsung case again. They are fighting too many battles.
I agree about "too many battles" thing. However, they need to do as much as possible to protect themselves from other companies such as Samsung using their stuff directly against them.
Ive never been a fan of ios or the android os but I can see why people like it. IM sure the new ios will work well and im sure that the iphone what ever it will be called next will work well in what it dose and will sell well like the ones before it but I don't expect a massive change in the os.
There will be no massive change. They will just go with the same old things. They forgot what change is.
They can't go with a massive change. What they made is easy to use and works well. Look at Microsoft, and see how they did when they went with "massive change". Now returning the Start button where it was. Some things should be left alone. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
whatd they add another row of icons to this iteration?
No, this time they really worked hard to change more. They added TWO rows of icons.
