Some Google I/O 2013 Aftermath Thoughts

Zaher Hallab of Tech-Ticker, "Now that I/O 2013 is over, it’s time to evaluate the goods and bads of this awesome event.

Well for me, this event is where I expected to be introduced to the new version of Android and the cool stuff that the new build will feature. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. Some people were disappointed but I was happy: as we all know, the main reason why Apple fans bash Android is the OS fragmentation issue. This time around, new features were added with no need to even update the OS, Google will proceed with updating the needed stuff automatically. This will allow OEMs to catch their breath and update their current line-up; the older phones with Gingerbread now have two options, either to get obsolete or be updated (if the HW can handle)."
