Not just another pretty face: Apple’s iPhone 5S to see big internal overhaul

BGR: Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5S is widely expected to feature the same external design as its predecessor, just as previous “S” upgrades have in the past. But looks can be deceiving. While Apple’s flagship iPhone for 2013 may appear to be the same as the iPhone 5 on the outside, the phone will feature a significant internal redesign when it launches this fall. BGR has exclusively obtained high-resolution photos of a number of components that will be included in Apple’s iPhone 5S, and they help paint a picture of things to come later this year.

The story is too old to be commented.

I'm a little disappointed by my iPhone 5. My iPhone 4 is still in pristine condition yet my 8 month old iPhone 5 already has permanent scratches on the incredibly easy to mark back cover. Same goes for the edges which are easy to damage. I tried an S3 before I got the iPhone 5 and I think it would have been easier to keep the S3 looking smart by just buying some replacement covers so aluminium isn't always the best material unless.
