ShashGear- HP’s first go-around with a tablet didn’t actually go so well. The webOS-based TouchPad didn’t last long and was quickly discontinued. However, the company is back with another slate, only this time it’s running the more widely-adopted Android operating system, and it seems as though HP wants to give tablets another whack with its first-ever Android tablet, the Slate 7.

Very aggressive price point, though the specs are nothing to get overly excited about. Will be interesting to see how it fares in the market place.

smh 99$ tablets is where its at.

but the nexus 7 definitely dominated and is the king of the under 250$ 7inch quality tablet market, its not justifiable to buy this when 30$ extra will get you a superior device
