Augmented Reality Robot OBOTO Opens Up New Opportunities For Brands

Forbes - Augmented reality company Ogmento has unleashed a free iOS app for Apple devices that’s more than just a cool tech demo. ROBOTO, a virtual character that can interact with the real world through a variety of cool mini-game functions, paints a picture of how established game characters and even major brands can engage with the growing number of smartphone and tablet users in new ways. I was able to check out this app in action at GDC 2013 in San Francisco this week. Brian Selzer, president and co-founder of Ogmento, talks about the new technology in this exclusive interview.
